Privacy Policy

When you create an account we process your email address, your password in hashed form, and any name, firm name or plan information you provide. We use this to authenticate you, to keep your workspace separate from other accounts, and to communicate about the service.

Documents you upload to a matter are stored in private storage and are accessible only to your account. We do not make them public, and we do not sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

You control what you upload. Please avoid uploading material that is not necessary for the review you intend to run.

We process your data to provide the service: storing matters and documents, producing findings, generating Closing Readiness Reports, keeping an activity record, and maintaining the security and reliability of the platform.

Jakuta is designed to use automated and AI-assisted analysis to compare documents and produce findings. Where a review is labelled as a Demo Review, the output is illustrative sample content and no analysis of your uploaded files has taken place.

AI output is never treated as a conclusion. Every finding requires review by a qualified legal professional before it is acted upon.

Matters, documents and findings are retained while your account is active. You can delete individual documents and matters at any time from the dashboard, and deleting a matter removes its documents, findings and activity.

Deleting your account removes your profile and the data associated with it. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period before being overwritten.

We use infrastructure providers to host the application, the database, authentication and file storage. These providers process data on our instructions in order to run the service.

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the product, or contact us through the contact form.

Access to matters, documents, findings and reports is restricted to the account that created them, enforced at the database and storage layer. Documents are held in private storage that is not publicly readable.

We do not claim any certification, audit or formal compliance standard for this version of the product.
